Description

Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance was founded in 1998 and is a grassroots organization that is unique in that we provide support for the entire family. Our family-focused culture engages the parents and youth we serve in the form of feedback and data analytics to allow us to evolve and better serve others into the future. The organization also has a well-represented Board of Directors made-up of community members in healthcare, finance, advertising and other industries to provide governance, program and resource development, and evaluation.
The "Alliance" in our name reflects the community that has embraced our organization shaping it into the leading childhood cancer-focused family support organization in Northern California.
Keaton's Child Cancer Alliance provides critical wrap-around services to children diagnosed with cancer by partnering with the five Northern California hospitals who specialize in pediatric oncology. Keaton's core program is "Family Navigators" who work alongside the entire family from the point of diagnosis through their entire cancer journey (including relapse), providing resources, education, counseling, and financial assistance to over 500 children and their families annually.
