Dare Humanity Ambassador Intern Status: Volunteer 2-4 hours per week when we have quarterly campaigns (six month commitment is preferred) Reports to: Executive Director/Founder and Lead Ambassadors Program Intern Position Overview & Basic Function: The Dare Humanity Ambassador Intern works closely with the Lead Ambassadors Program Intern and Executive Director/Founder. The Ambassadors Program exists to create awareness about the students and families we serve in Haiti and the opportunity to support those in need. Strongly preferred: someone actively pursuing or possessing a degree in Nonprofit Management or those interested in nonprofit partnerships, and/or the nonprofit sector Perks for ambassadors: Elevate your positioning in your respective sector by supporting a great cause while in a leadership role Participate in challenges to win e-gift cards for up to $100 Join friendly competitions to access rewards - ex. Lunch or dinner on us And more! Core Responsibilities: Share our work through your social media network (we will provide everything you need) When we have campaigns, share the link with your friends and family Create teams to raise funds to support our cause (we will help you with this as well) Think of and implement creative ways to be an ambassador - ex. Design social media posts for an upcoming campaign Communicate with the Dare Humanity team regularly and be aware of important dates Role Qualifications: To be an ambassador we ask that you: Have an active Instagram, Facebook and/or LinkedIn account Are willing and able to share on social media Are able to assist with ongoing support for youth and families in Haiti Understand and support the mission of Dare Humanity Make a commitment to serving underserved communities and youth in developing countries Able to apply our values in relationship development, written work, and communication. Other areas to note: Marketing experience is a plus We are only accepting ten (10) ambassadors for this recruiting cycle Dare Humanity is an equal opportunity employer.
