4-H is looking for 2-3 volunteers to help with our 4-H Homework Help club that happens from 2:30-3:30 pm on Mondays-Thursdays at Orr Middle School (1562 East Katie Ave, Las Vegas, Nevada, 89119) We are looking for volunteers who want to help students with their homework in math, English, science, and other topics. There will be a CCSD teacher present during all meetings. Whether you want to volunteer twice a month or every day, we'd love to hear from you and talk to you more about the opportunity. For this position, having a CCSD volunteer badge (or willing to get one) is a huge plus, as is experience tutoring, working with English Language Learning students, and Spanish-speaking abilities. A fingerprint background check will be required as well. If you'd like to learn more about this volunteer opportunty, you can respond to this posting directly or email rtesar@unr.edu. Thank you!
