Mission Statement

Provide free bread to those who need it to prevent starvation in a town in Tanzania, Africa. We value the fact that 100% of donations go to the free bread fund. We provide free bread to the local orphanage, leprosy centre, malnourished patients at the local hospital, a mentally disabled school and several kindergartens and primary schools in the area of Ifakara, Tanzania.

Description

My parents started the charity 20 years ago, they raised money, designed and developed a bakery that a group of Franciscan nuns runs. The bakery is an independent enterprise now, but my parents wanted to make sure that those in the community who also needed the bread but couldn't afford it also had it.
Until Covid-19 my parents were raising funds by giving talks to groups around the UK, but now we are seeking new avenues to create awareness and need an updated website to do it.
