We are seeking help from grants writers/advisors to help research and help write grants for our programs as need has grown 10-fold over the last year due to COVID-19 impact on the communities. We focus on serving children, adults, families, and veterans dealing with health and socioeconomic disparities. We serve everyone with "open arms and doors" out of 5 offices while trying to expend to more communities. We are the only program of kind in the communities we serve. Here are some of the services and program we offer FREE HEALTH, SUBSTANCE ABUSE AND MENTAL HEALTH We provide free health, substance abuse and mental health services to those without insurance and means to pay. We have donated over $550,000.00 while severing over 6900 individuals since 2015 in direct services. We are anticipating donating twice this year. We have over 5 psychiatrists, 1 substance abuse specialist, 2 family physicians, medical doctors, 2 Physician assistances, 1 nurse practitioner, 8 case managers and 47 mental health professionals. GARDENING FOR PEACE City of Detroit and Landbank gifted iAMERICA more 6 lots to help provide education, employment, and community gathering place for the Detroit Community located on the Westside of the town. We are anticipating to grown while providing educational and employment opportunities promoting growth in the drugs infested communities in Michigan. SOCIAL SERVICES Helping to advocate and apply for the medical and disability benefits for the needy. While facilitating the food, shelter, and employments resources for free of charge. EDUCATIONAL PROGRAM We provide free English as a Second Language classes in addition to GED and basic computer skills essential to help promote employment. We also offer after-school program for youth in the community to support families keeping children safe while offering academic support to prevent school drop out which is the highest in the nation. EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM Providing free employment services and resources center which is opened 6 days a week. We offer help with resumes, cover letters, free coping and faxing for the job seeker. COMMUNITY LIBRARY AND RESOURCE CENTER A place to connect and grow with the world. FOOD FOR FAMILIES We serve over 2500 families weekly by providing weekly food packages complete breakfast, dinner and 2 snack per family member since April 2020. COMMUNITY CLOSET PROGRAM We provide free new or slightly used clothing, small household goods including bedding and children’ toys. We also provide medical supplies such as adult diapers, blue pads, etc. We also offer "dress for success" program to help with entries for job seekers. COMMUNITY PANTRY For last 4 years we have been providing free walk-up nonperishable groceries to the individuals and families in need. HOLIDAY GIFTING We have been providing holiday gift baskets for last 5 years to the community personalized to cater to children and adults needs. PERSONAL HYGIENE AND CARE KITS Personal hygiene and care kits include: a blanket, pair of stocks, winter gloves & hat, comb, disposable safety, portable flashlight, dry shampoo, bar soap, shampoo and conditioner set, a gift card to buy food and box of candies/chocolates. For children we include a toy and sanitary products for women. We have distributed over 10,000 kits to homeless and in need individuals
