SDR metastic melanoma education and research fund

Description

The SDR fund is comprised of a general advisory board consisting of Sabra's immediate family, a medical advisory board comprised of Dr. Paul Chapman and Dr. Alan Halpern (both at MSKCC), and an extensive network of friends and supporters of melanoma education and research. Currently all of the fund is earmarked for melanoma research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center but a large public awareness campaign is being developed. The main event in this campaign is the Read for the Cure which will occur nationally on the first Monday of May (Melanoma Monday).
