Mission Statement

Christian Youth Channel - CYC is a Christian television and internet-based Channel. CYC is the only English Coptic Christian Channel. The effect of media is noteworthy on shaping ideologies, way of life, and most importantly faith. CYC is a tool for many people to reshape their ideologies into the right direction and believe in community and teamwork for the benefit of the communities around us. CYC acknowledges the importance of involving the youth in all aspects of the Channel’s work flow. From brainstorming of new shows, bringing in new ideas, to actual production, youth has demonstrated leadership skills at a young age. We believe that CYC is the perfect platform to build future leaders in our society. Our main goal is to encourage the youth to be part of the channel production. We engage them in decision making and their feedback is always of a great value to us. We are always open to new ideas provided by the youth.

Description

CYC’s goal to become a source of strength and hope to all the people around the world regardless of their religious or cultural background. Our mission is to reach those who are unreachable. Our programs address all the people and bring in the love and joy of Christ into everyone’s homes.
CYC’s mission is mainly to serve the youth as well. We offer a broad variety of youth-oriented shows. We answer their questions, and we tackle topics that are of interest to them. We also offer an opportunity for the youth to be engaged in the channel’s productions. CYC is a channel for the youth accomplished by the youth! In addition to that to become a center of strength in faith to all the youth and anyone English speaker.
