To create and support programs that help young people overcome obstacles and reach their full potential; to support community building programs that provide guidance to those who have been or are being bullied, and to support young people in creative ministry, such as spoken word, poetry, music, dance, and mime.

Description

2020 was a year of firsts for Joe’s Legendary Fund. We awarded the First Scholarship in June to a High School senior. We held our first Joe's Gospel Cafe which gives young people the opportunity to showcase their talents in January. And this past July, we held our first JMF Fund Spoken Word Contest for young people, 16-22, where we awarded four cash prizes, with a first of $1,100. We are seeking to host another event in the Fall.
