During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
We are a community-based non-profit organization comprised of thousands of volunteers delivering groceries, prescriptions, and other necessities to those most vulnerable to COVID-19 in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia (and, coming soon, Atlanta!). We’ve completed thousands of contactless deliveries to the elderly, disabled, and immunocompromised, connecting vetted, trained volunteers with our recipients while following CDC guidelines. We keep our communities safe, socially engaged, and well-nourished -- all while physically distancing.
Invisible Hands has organized over 10,000 volunteers to deliver food, medicine, and other necessities throughout New York City, Long Island, Westchester, New Jersey, and Philadelphia (and coming soon, Altanta!). But our work is only beginning. By partnering with food pantries and spreading the word within our communities, Invisible Hands is committed to expanding our free services to our neighbors that need it the most. People can volunteer either in person or remotely in a number of different ways:
No matter which way a volunteer chooses to get involved, they have found it to be a rewarding, easy way to build a sense of community and make a real difference in people’s lives. Visit InvisibleHandsDeliver.org/volunteer to sign up and join our community!
