Mission Statement

Our mission at Farmhouse Animal & Nature Sanctuary, a 501(c)(3) non profit, is to care for, love and support the exotic and farm animals that live at the sanctuary, to the best of our ability, for the remainder of their lives and to educate the public on animal care and nature.

Description

Farmhouse sanctuary offers continued care of the animals that currently reside at the property. These animals will live out the remainder of their lives here with us. Our main goal is to ensure the safety and well-being of the animals in our care as well as to show them love. We will be working towards programs geared to help at risk students and under privileged youth and young adults. The focus will be to teach them a way of life caring for animals and nature with the intent of peaking their interest in pursuing a career in animal care/vet services and/or horticultural and landscape services. This program will benefit both the person and the animals with one on one attention and care. In addition we will offer educational tours and classes to help raise public awareness and understanding of what it takes to care for the specific animals at the sanctuary.

Farmhouse Santuary assist animals that may otherwise not have a chance. They offer the best medical care available and truly care for each animal. The opportunity to be a volunteer helps me see and understand the amount of time, effort and love it takes to operate a Santuary. Every time I volunteer I learn something new about animals and enjoy being a part of a wonderful organization. To be able to see a animal given a second chance to thrive in such a happy place is rewarding. Their mission is to educate people about the proper care and long term commitment in caring for animals. Please consider volunteering with Farmhouse you will be glad to did.

Farmhouse Animal & Nature Sanctuary is a wonderful place to volunteer! The owners are responsive and open to volunteer ideas for improvement, and the nonprofit is growing, so there are lots of various opportunities to get involved in a way that is meaningful to you. I love the compassion that is shown for animals in need by the sanctuary.
