Mission Statement

The mission of the Fort Collins Delivery Network is to provide at-risk individuals in the Fort Collins Area with access to food, medicine, and other essential supplies via a network of compassionate volunteers.

Description

The Fort Collins Delivery Network was founded in March, 2020 in order to deliver groceries to folks who were unable to leave their homes due to the COVID pandemic. Over the last several months, we've been expanding our services beyond grocery delivery. We also offer financial assistance for folks that are having difficulty affording groceries, and we're hoping to soon deliver food boxes directly from the food bank. In addition, we partner with the FoCo Cafe (a nonprofit restaurant) to deliver hot meals to folks in need.

Volunteer Opportunities/Programs:

Essential Supply Deliveries on Demand:

These volunteers deliver essential supplies to folks in need. While the FoCo Cafe shifts (below) are at specific times, this service is on demand, so we just text our volunteers when an order comes in and they can claim it if they're free. These orders typically take about 2 hours to fill, but some orders are shorter.

FoCo Cafe Hot Meal Delivery Shifts:

We have six 2-hour shifts every week day. You'd just sign up for what works for you, and we'll send you the delivery details the day before. All of the deliveries are contactless, so you'd call them to let them know you're delivering, and then just leave them outside their door.
