Mission Statement
Avoidant Personality Resource Center is all about Mental Health. We specifically deal with a condition called Avoidant Personality (Avpd). Avpd includes Major Depression, Severe Social Anxiety, Fear of people and a host of other symptoms. Our mission is to spread the word about Mental Health and erase the stigma associated with it. We help anyone that is struggling with mental health regardless of their ability to pay.
Description
We started out life as Needs Met, which is a 501c3 that deals with physical issues like food, clothing, and such. In 2018, we re-structured and re-focused into Avoidant Personality Resource Center because the founder, Phillip Dacus, struggles with Avpd himself, so he wants to help others that struggle with this condition. We also have a retail store that sells Mental Health products to raise support for the non profit. MentalHealthDesigns.com is the store while the non profit is Avoidants.org
