Mission Statement

Masks For All CA (MFACA) is a teen-led charitable organization that seeks to champion wearing masks in public by supplying them to the general public at no cost. Though we often hold mask drives in low income neighborhoods, we have distributed masks in San Francisco, as well as nationally (through our branches) in Los Angeles, New Jersey, New Mexico, and New York.

Description

Following the disastrous effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, mass shortages of facial masks and other necessities plagued the nation. High School students Michelle Song and Dalya Deuss started Masks For All CA (MFACA) to provide handmade facial masks for those who need it most, at zero cost to them. To this day, MFACA has donated over 5,000 masks (in just over four months!) in California and our national branches in New Jersey, New York, New Mexico, and Los Angeles. MFACA hold weekly mask drives ( masksforallca.org/upcoming-events ), in which we donate 100% cotton handmade masks to the general public; also, masks are donated to professional distribution centers who request using our website. Fiscally sponsored by The Richmond District Neighborhood Center, we are able to apply and utilize grants to fund our efforts--along with numerous other sponsors. Featured on several news publications: SF Richmond Review, Sing Tao Daily. Masks For All CA is seeking volunteers to help expand production.
