Mission Statement

Jasper County CASA’s mission is to provide trained community volunteers to advocate for abused and neglected children. We want to ensure that every child receives the best possible chance at a safe, permanent home. CASA volunteers make a difference. Children who have a CASA volunteer on their side spend less time in the foster care system.

Description

A nonprofit, private, organization dedicated to recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers who advocate for children in Jasper County who have experienced abuse or neglect.

9,000 children are reported as abused or neglected every day in America. 500,000 children are in foster care or institutions every day. These numbers are staggering.

Our goal is to ensure that these numbers stop growing by appointing volunteers to be court appointed special advocates for children who have experienced abuse and/or neglect in Jasper County and have a case in the juvenile court. CASA volunteers spend their time investigating, advocating for services, making fact-based recommendations, and being a constant support for these children in need.
