The True Dharma International Buddhist Mission is inspired by the life of the compassionate Buddha, to render loving-kindness and wise, selfless service, to suffering beings at all stages of life, near and far, with foci on the underserved, the disadvantaged, the abused, and the forgotten in our stressful world. Description

Service as volunteer prison and hospice/hospital spiritual caregivers, animal rights activism, organic gardening, and harmless eating (vegan cooking). A current project is entitled Good Death Auspicious Rebirth. See truedharma.org/death-dying. Development of a dynamic educational program for medical caregivers who serve patients and families who adhere Dharmic (Indian religious views) perspectives on the end of life. To improve patient care by nourishing informed empathy and understanding. Additionally, fundraising for emergency relief funds for migrant laborers who have become homeless victims of national COVID-19 shutdown in India. Local emergency relief- homeless, Immokalee farmworkers. On-call COVID-19 disaster response. Distribution of homemade face masks.
