Description

We are a pottery studio, school, gallery, and tea room in sunny Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA. We occupy a spacious and professionally equipped building in the University/Nob Hill area with a vibrant and diverse community of artists. We offer resident and non-resident studio memberships, classes, and workshops. Our gallery is filled with works made in the shop by members, and other arts & crafts made by various, local artisans covering a variety of styles.

Membership is open to the general public and their families - all members must be 13 years of age or older. Any persons under 13 years of age, must be under direct-parental supervision.

Contact us to set up an appointment-No experience required! Just show up in clothes you do not mind getting dirty, and ready for good times! Classes for beginning and intermediate potters are taught on-site. New members must go through a Clay Studio Orientation/Class before working at HomeMade Pottery Studio (mostly to learn the studio rules, etiquette, and procedures.)

HomeMade hosts workshops, arts & craft shows, and Fine Arts Shows featuring hand-made art (not just pottery) throughout the year.

The tea school and public room is a dedicated space to tea arts and cultures, as well as relaxation.

Love the Access to the Amazing Tools and Knowledge and Facilities! Learned about making your own home goods and various tea arts, the Japanese matcha (powdered green tea) ceremonies and Chinese GongFu Cha!
