Farms for Orphans (FFO) provides training, tools, and mentorship to vulnerable youth in climate-smart agriculture so they are able to grow their own nutritious food and achieve economic autonomy through the sale of their farmed goods.
FFO works in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. We currently provide training to orphanages and vulnerable youth in insect farming. Insects including grubs, crickets, caterpillars and termites are a culturally appropriate source of protein that are typically harvested from the wild.
