Mission Statement

The Clear Lake Public Library provides informational, educational cultural, recreational and technological services. The library strives to be a welcoming community center for all seeking personal and professional growth and development.

In 2019, the Clear Lake Public library funded by The Friends of the Library provided supplies for the Lego Pinewood Derby races at the library. Material purchased included 25 Lego chassis and weighted bricks; the program has been well revived.

The Friends also fund DearReader.com, purchases Book Page monthly magazine, and provides newsletters to members and the public with information on upcoming programming. We participated as one of 10 not-for-profit organizations featured at the Clear Lake Chautauqua.
