Divide Camp serves post 9/11 combat wounded veterans by exposing them to the healing qualities of nature.
Divide Camp is 6 cabins and several out buildings on forty acres in the NE corner of Oregon. We bring veteran applicants to our camp for a week where they unplug and reboot. They meet other veterans dealing with similar challenges. Some trips include back packing into the Eagle Cap Wilderness Area, others are about fly fishing or learning how to tie their own flies. Hunting season brings our veterans both archery and rifle deer and elk hunting opportunities through our relationship with local ranches. Since our beginning in 2012 we have seen many veterans embrace nature and learn to manage their ptsd symptoms by spending more time in the outdoors. We normally host around 50 veterans each year - and encourage them to become a part of our organization.
