Mission Statement

The InVenture Innovation Training Center program provides education for entrepreneurs. InVenture Innovation Training Center incubates and successfully equips entrepreneurs through small business training and workforce development seminars. It is taught by seasoned and successful entrepreneur and executive stakeholders with a follow-on mentor and coaching Program. These training programs will facilitate small businesses and micro businesses. Its educational seminars and follow-on mentor and coaching program for entrepreneur’s trains entrepreneurs through market entry. InVenture InVenture Innovation Training Center will boost support of the Michigan entrepreneurial educational ecosystem and championing entrepreneurs through market entry commercialization bridging the gap between incubation the venture capital.

Description

Program Description: InVenture Innovation Training Center program a 501c(3) nonprofit will facilitate in bridging the gap of an underserved entrepreneurial ecosystem in Michigan (source: Brookings Institute). The program brings together workforce development and a collaborating innovation cluster culture, supported by its collaborating network. InVenture program brings an innovation cluster culture collaboration not afforded by other Michigan entrepreneurial education organizations, which Michigan needs (source: Brookings Institute). The program course curriculum provides proven effective entrepreneurial tools. It can help sustain the entrepreneurial ecosystem necessary to support workforce development and workforce transition, through its social entrepreneurial collaboration impacting problems of workforce development and workforce transition and helping to achieve effective change. Michigan has experienced declines of employment that have had sizable effects on the economy and have accounted for a number of displaced workers with workforce transition a key focus. From 2000 and 2010, 50 percent of all jobs lost in the US were in Michigan (source: New Economy Imitative). Michigan has recovered about half of the total employment level that was lost from 2000 (source: Michigan DTMB). The program can greatly impact issues important to Michigan small business communities. Plante Moran Partner stated the implementation of this program will help Michigan contributing to economic growth through new venture formation and attraction job creation.
