Mission Statement

Our mission is to create and support a healthier community, in Apex and surrounding areas, in which all aspects of wellness can thrive.

Description

Fresh Start is an incorporated nonprofit, committed to promoting and supporting the growth of wellness in the Triangle.

Our focus is on three main pillars: Mental Health, Physical Health, and Forward Health.

These pillars encompass wellness as a whole.

Our Start

Fresh Start was founded as one of six project management plans, formally known as chapter projects, for Apex High DECA. Fresh Start began as the Community Giving Project and is all about just that, giving back to our community.

We started our first couple of months with a focus on education online. As part of the DECA project, we launched the Giving Initiative.

The initiative was to host an in-kind donation drive or fundraiser every month!
