Mission Statement

Our Mission: Provide an intentional environment where individuals living with mental illness have opportunities to be productive, develop social connections, obtain employment and achieve recovery.

A Clubhouse is a community center for adults living with mental illness. Members collaborate with trained staff to perform the work-ordered daily activities necessary to maintain the organization and facility. Whether planning and preparing healthy meals or creating a newsletter, Clubhouse participants stay busy and engaged.

Members contribute their unique skills to further each member’s wellness and recovery. The work-ordered day provides a routine schedule while after-hours social activities provide opportunities for fun, fellowship, and ongoing education. Transitional employment opportunities are accessible when employment is a goal.

Each Clubhouse member participates in consensus-based decision making regarding running the Clubhouse. They are members-not "patients" or "cases".

Prelude Clubhouse opened in February of 2017-success depends on member and community participation.
