Description

This is a new full-time STEM- Centric private Christ centered military-style school that helps train students with interest in a service to community type training. This is integrated into the daily learning environment. Examples of these careers would be pilot, EMS (Emt-Paramedic), Fire, Law Enforcement, Search and Rescue, or any Military Branch or service academy. Grades 3-5 are junior cadets, and Grades 6-12 are Cadets. We partner with the Scouts for the junior cadet training and awards. The age- appropriate Military-Style program for Cadets is implemented in the Civil Air Patrol partnership.

Vanguard Idaho is Idaho's first "CAP at School" program in Idaho. The program utilizes and trains with the partnership organiztions promotion requirements, which allows cadets to progress up the ladder in these programs while they learn in school. This opens the cadets to many and varied unique opportunities for learning, year around. Cadets will receive several orientation flights throughout the year in aircraft from Both Civil Air Patrol, and the local EAA pilots. They will have numerous and ample opportunities to learn and participate in Search and Rescue, Community Emergency Response Teams, and UAV piloting.
