Mission Statement

The Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise is launching the Young Professionals Group for community volunteers ages 20-40. This group will have access to resources needed to launch community projects in helping their favorite charities. They will also benefit from the mentoring and leadership activities available through Rotary. The Rotary motto is SERVICE ABOVE SELF. Our club focuses on numerous local community and global projects to make a difference in the world. Rotary is the largest all-volunteer service organization in the world, and we are looking for people of all ages who want to give back and be part of something special.

Description

The Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise has been making things better around the corner and around the world for over 30 years. We meet every Friday morning for breakfast at 7:00 am at the North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village. We invite you to be our guest and learn more about Rotary! Check out our website at WestlakeVillageSunriseRotary.org.
We hold numerous fundraising events throughout the year. 100% of our proceeds of these fundraisers are earmarked to many local charities, including Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Conejo Valley, YMCA of Southeast Ventura County, and Many Mansions, and to Rotary grants helping the underprivileged in Niger and Honduras.

Our local community projects include Feed the Needy, Meals on Wheels, Many Mansions Holiday gifts with Santa, Goebel Senior Center hosted holiday breakfast, ASA Soldier Appreciation Month, and Backpacks for local school children.

Our club has also supported Lutheran Social Services, Boy Scouts, Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Conejo Free Clinic, Junior Achievement, Manna Food Bank, Prostate Cancer Foundation, Children’s Hospital, Assistance League, Westminster Free Clinic, Art Trek, Fit 4 the Cause, and the Alzheimer’s Association.
