This organization has such an enormous impact on our local seniors. They are the only home-delivered prepared meal provider in the county, as well as the only senior dining program that is open every weekday.
On top of that, they have the services that you wouldn't know you need until you need them, such as caregiver respite vouchers, AC Unit replacement, adult diapers and liquid nutrition.
Volunteering with the thrift stores can directly lead to more meals served or respite vouchers given. At the end of each day of volunteering, it's always such a great feeling to know you had a positive impact on this community.
