Mission Statement

Our primary mission is to care for abandoned, homeless, critically ill, medically fragile and injured cats and kittens and place them in their forever loving home.

Description

  • Kaydee's Promise was founded in 2017 as a foster-based cat rescue in Taylorsville and Louisville, KY.
  • We gained our 501(c)(3) nonprofit status in 2018 and we are run completely by our dedicated volunteers.
  • We constantly struggle to maintain an adequate number of foster homes, which often forces us to hold all intakes until cats are adopted into their forever homes and more foster space becomes available.
  • Our rescue is 100% no-kill and we pride ourselves on finding loving forever homes for each of our cats, no matter how long it takes.
  • We always try to make room for the most medically fragile cats, help establish their best quality of life, and find the perfect family to call their own.
