Description

Mason Youth Organization (MYO), started in 1968. MYO was incorporated in the state of Ohio as an organization in 1984. MYO is a non-profit, volunteer organization based in Mason, Ohio. The purpose of the organization is to serve as an overseeing body for baseball and softball programs in the Mason area with a goal of serving the youth in the Mason and Deerfield township communities. The organization is over 40 years old and serves both boys and girls ages 4 through 22. Currently, there are 3 subsidiaries under the MYO umbrella, Mason Little League Baseball, Mason Youth Softball and Mason Challenger. In each year, MYO will register over 2,100 youth to play Spring and Fall baseball and softball. The all-volunteer board, along with coaches, serve these youths and give back to the community.

MYO introduces the Challenger League program in 2012. The Challenger League expanded MYO’s offering by providing children with special needs a team that adapted to their needs. In the Spring of 2013, two Challenger teams play their first full season. The Challenger league continues to grow. In 2020, celebrated our 8-year anniversary, Challenger offers over 90 athletes with special needs an opportunity to participate in the game of baseball. The program supports athletes from Butler, Clermont, Hamilton and Warren Counties.
