During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Our mission is to promote inclusion, independence and autonomy for all residents. We work as a team of families, physiotherapists, social workers, recreation therapists, dietitians, doctors/nurses, AND VOLUNTEERS to maximize the health and wellness, plus enjoyment of life, of our residents.
Eatonville Care Centre is situated just across the street from the Eatonville Branch of the Toronto Public Library, in a lovely neighbourhood in the heart of Etobicoke. This accredited long term care home has served our 247 multicultural residents since 1971. Centrally located, we are near the intersection of Burnhamthorpe Road and The East Mall, easily accessible by Mississauga Transit (Route 26).
Eatonville Care Centre is looking for caring, friendly and energetic volunteers to assist the program staff with daily planned activities. The activities for the residents range from BINGO to trips to High Park. Each program can have 5-50 residents in attendance and can range from low key to high energy. As a volunteer, you will team up with our trained staff to help set up, facilitate, and tidy up after each activity (outing).
