This is a board position that requires you to attend monthly meetings on Wednesdays at 6PM. July-May (no meeting in Dec.) Annually. As a secretary, you are the handler of information for the organization. Attending the monthly meetings, taking notes, typing up the minutes and posting to our Google Drive shared folder after each meeting, and sending to our communications chair for the meeting emails. Helping out by volunteering during our May event is appreciated.

This position gets to be silly, use Snapchat filters to create fun video announcements. Create short fun videos on Tik Tok. You utilize and maximize our exposure on social media platforms! Your job is to get people talking about us, interacting with us, and most of all volunteering, participating in events/fundraisers, and donating to us. You will get them excited about what we do and caring about our organization. This is a committee lead position. We have monthly meetings on Wednesdays 6-7 PM. August-April (8 meetings, no meetings in December) annually. Our annual event is held in May. Only 3 are mandatory: August (1st of the season), January (presentations are presented) & April (final before event) What is needed for this position? You are an important part of the organization. You create our event volunteer sign-up and help us push it out to get positions filled to ensure we have volunteers to help us run our annual event in May. Reaching out to communities and send email requests to our communications chair to send to our email data base. We use Google drive/docs, this position also uses Sign-Up Genius We host monthly meetings the last Wednesday of the month August -April (Nothing in December) Three meetings a year that are mandatory for this position: August - First meeting of year, we talk about the theme, it’s our Open house to recruit new volunteers, and we give the approved budget information. January - The new year we get together to ensure we are all on the same page, know what to expect at the event and ensure everyone is still on board. Several committee’s present their final ideas for the event it is great to have feed back. Help us entertain the grads. You decide on all the fun stuff for the night. Vendors for kids to have fun stations (massage, caricature artists, Photo booths, etc.) Inflatable activities for the outside field. Set up the Casino area and a Headliner to end the night with a blast. This is a shadow position to partner with our current Entertainment Chair. You will assist with the fun stuff! Entertainment is just that, find the stuff to keep the graduates engaged and want to stay for the night! With the anticipation of taking over the position for the 2024-2025 season. We can have up to 8 vendors on the basketball court, blow up games in our field, gaming mobile trucks, pool tables, arcade games, etc. You will assist with the set up the casino area and ensure the vendors know where to set up (and that we have all they need ready) on event night. This is a vital position that must be filled. This position works with Canyon Del Oro High school, District, OVPD, Golder Ranch Fire, OV building inspectors and our Internal Relations Chair for our event. Most of the work for this position starts in January, scheduling meetings. This position is a detail oriented position. You ensure we have all the details submitted to our inspectors in April, as well as ensure all the electrical is set at the event. You will work closely with the Entertainment & Decorations committees. This is a Board Member position. Only 3 are mandatory: August (1st of the season), January (presentations are presented) & April (final before event) Our board also has a meeting in July to decide/set the next seasons plan. Our annual event is held in May. We have monthly meetings on Wednesdays 6-7 PM. August-April (8 meetings, no meetings in December) annually.
