PAW is a non- profit making organization that operates in grass root communities to mitigate the environment and peaceful co-existence. PAW is legally registered as a Non-governmental organization. Currently PAW works in all regions of Uganda.
We encourage communities to learn and benefit from management techniques and the conservation of natural resources. PAW works to improve the environment through introducing low-cost environmental technologies and provision of tree seedlings.
Through the Education programming, PAW secures quality basic education for all children.
PAW does also partner with Donors to deliver a community based school improvement programme, through community - based construction of schools. PAW does use Sports in schools to transform and nurture talents, promote team work and enhance togetherness.
We campaign on issues of climate change with the aim of strengthening women food producers and achieving resilience in communities to the effects of climate change.
We address youth employment through vocational and life Skilling, training and mentorship, while lobbying for changes in the education system.
We conduct researches on issues like unpaid care work that hinders women from being economically engaged and use the evidence to push for practice changes.
