Mission Statement

The Legacy of Love Hospice mission is to participate as an active part of the community, to provide and continuously improve hospice care services to meet the needs of our hospice patients by delivering value driven, high quality compassionate care. We believe in the importance of caring for each patient with honesty, respect, and dignity by adapting to the needs of each patient and providing individualized care.

Description

We are looking for volunteers to simply be there for our patients, not to fix anything or do anything in particular, but just to let our patients feel loved and cared about. Our volunteers can volunteer to play games, comb hair, pain nails, read books too, visit, possibly take out trash or make up beds, run errands, get groceries, and simple things as such. We can also use volunteers in our office with filling, paper work, labeling letters, or helping with our bereavement program.
