Description

Join the small team supporting the reelection of a school board member for the renowned Gwinnett County Public Schools. Currently representing District 1 on the Gwinnett County Board of Education Carole C. Boyce will seek re-election for a fifth term. A forty-seven year resident, she is active in the community where all six of her children graduated from Gwinnett County Public Schools. During her tenure on the Board student achievement has soared, graduation rates have risen, and students have many choices to extend academic pursuits. The number of students has increased by 45,000 and 42 new schools have been built. Mrs. Boyce is proud of many recognitions of student success. These include awards for best school system in the nation two times, Advanced Placement achievement, quality teaching honors, and national principal of the year. The Board was also honored for its leadership as the Georgia Governance Team of the Year. Mrs. Boyce’s top priorities for her re-election include safety, educational choice, innovative instruction, teacher recruitment and retention, community partnerships, and equity.
