Assn of Los Altos Historical Museum

Description

Designated an historical site, the Assn has transformed an orchardist's 1905 farm house into an historic museum. The house and its outdoor exhibits is the focal point for depicting life in the area prior to the growth of Silicon Valley. Assn offers a variety of educational programs and docent tours. A new 8200 sq ft Education Center will open Fall 2000 to expand display of permant history collection and changing exhibits. Expansion will enable museum to enhance community programs & events for People of all ages.
