Mission Statement

The Regional AIDS Project is a community-based program committed to working with persons significantly affected by HIV/AIDS in Riley, Geary, Clay, Pottawatomie, Marshall, and Washington Counties. The Regional AIDS Project will provide direct client services and will network closely with other community-based agencies and service providers to support and maintain the best quality of life possible through meeting the client's social, legal, educational, and medical needs.

Description

Client services include: support groups, one-on-one support for people living with HIV/AIDS, help with daily living activities/needs, transportation to medical appointments, networking with other agencies to provide housing, food, and clothing, assistance with applications to other agencies, such as SRS etc., advocacy with creditors, representation for social security disability applications, preparation of power of attorney documents for health care and financial matters, preparation of living will documents, and honorary membership of RAP.
