Caris is a proud partner of the national We Honor Veterans Program and we cherish the opportunity to serve Veterans. To help Caris provide Hospice Care with Grace to our patients who are veterans, we enlist volunteers, many of whom are veterans themselves. Our veteran volunteers possess a profound understand of the needs of veterans from every branch of service. As a Caris Veteran Volunteer you will have the honor to provide companionship to veteran patients, help veterans tell their stories, identify opportunities for Caris staff to help family members replace long lost medals and other official service-related items, and assist Caris staff in saluting veteran patients and their families.
