Mission of the Peninsula Art Academy:` To promote the advancement of the arts in Northeast Ohio and the Village of Peninsula by providing instruction in the arts. Our instruction and educational programs will be non-accredited and not-for-profit; we seek to provide facilities, instruction and peer critique to member artists and crafts persons in disciplines not commonly offered from other regional educational institutions. Through unique lectures, workshops, shows, instructional classes, rentals, lending library, visiting artists, working studios and retail gallery, the Peninsula Art Academy will differentiate our products and services from other educational institutions by implementing unique curriculum, education and business methodologies.
About the Peninsula Art Academy: Specialties: Located in the popular Village of Peninsula's Historic District, Peninsula Art Academy includes a fine art gallery and exhibit hall, performing arts stage, working artist studios and meeting space. In June 2000, Steve Craig and Matt Kubinyl organized a plan for establishing a non-profit art academy in Peninsula, Ohio to promote the arts, combining the natural and cultural benefits of Peninsula, and to use regional artists to serve as staff faculty and other nationally prominent artists as visiting instructors and speakers. Further, the Peninsula Art Academy was created to promote a cultural venue where artists and craftsmen come to learn and create fine art.
