Mission Statement

Your Actions Changes Things Inc (UACT) is 501(3)c social service organization whose mission is to create a environment of dignity and respect. We advocate for their rights and provide practical services that lead to self-empowerment and self-determination. Our main focus is finding ways to involve the public in our effort to promote personal and professional achievement among the community through multiple avenues of support.

Description

Our main goal here at UACT is being able to meet the needs of the present in order to improve social-economic skills for the future.

We believe every person has a skill or talent that they can offer. Therefore, we are dedicated to helping improve the quality of life of others by helping youth, individuals, families and those with disabilities with social assistance. We are actively involved in various types of social service activities. Our compassionate approach ALWAYS puts the dignity of the individuals we serve at the forefront.

Our Services included community outreach programs such as our give a load program, travel with a purpose and our homeless assistance. Other services include but are not limited to resume building, housing assistance, self-efficient workshops and more!

Kicking of 2020 we will be launching our ACTION program which services as a community based mentoring group for children and adolescents. Through our ACTION program, we offer 1-to-1 mentoring and group mentoring. We engage in community giveback with other service organizations, financial literacy, college prep, self-esteem workshops and much more!
