Mission Statement: Originating from a Christian commitment of service, our mission is to provide high quality care, services and residential communities for all seniors. We are driven by a deep sense that our work should serve God and always produce good for others. Values: Compassion:We truly care about people and seek to treat each resident, employee, and neighbor with dignity, respect, and fairness. Professionalism: We strive to be excellent at what we do and to be sound managers of resources with solid, ethical business practices. Leadership: We will be leaders in our field: setting a good example for others, visionary, growing, inclusive and constantly improving.
In 1961, the Reverend John R. Glenn and four Ohio Presbyterian churches formed National Church Residences out of a Christian commitment to serve older adults' housing, social, and human needs. Today, our success stands on that spiritual foundation.
Here at Morning Star, we have been serving our seniors with a food pantry that started in 2016. Our food pantry is supplied through the River-bend Food Bank, over the past four years we have been able to feed the seniors who are in great need at our property. The food pantry has been a heaven sent for our Seniors on the property.
