Mission Statement

To provide job preparation, career readiness skills and training resources to opportunity youth and adults in the Dallas County Texas area. Our goal is to encourage and motivate individuals to strive for growth, advancement, and/or continued education. In addition, it is our goal to create community partnerships with local business owners and community leaders who support our mission.

Description

  1. Professional Career Development Services (PCDS) was created in Detroit, MI, late 2011. Founder relocated in 2013 and revamped the nonprofit to fit the needs of the Dallas area community to relaunch in 2018. PCDS assists with life skills in relation to job/career readiness and skill building. We are operating four of our six planned programs. We have in place Career Services for resume services with consultation; our Excel Program are subject focused job skill building and life skill workshops; Simple Styles is our hair grooming services for haircuts; Causal Closet assist those in need with new to gently used business or casual clothes; Get You There is our transportation services; 2Dallas will be a resource package for individuals/families that relocated to Dallas area planned to launch in 2020/2021. We are a small nonprofit that will be expanding.
