Mission Statement

We help homeowners who are struggling with financial, health, or disability issues keep their homes livable by doing major repairs and remodeling.

Description

The BuildTeam is a small all-volunteer non-profit that takes on home repair and improvement projects of different sizes and durations--all at no cost to the homeowners we serve. We welcome volunteers of any skill level, so you don't have to be handy--you just need to be interested and willing to learn. We don't ask for a big time commitment; many volunteers donate just a few hours of their time each year.

We are based in northwest Cook County, and limit our projects to the surrounding area.
