During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of both COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Our mission is to provide quality community services to help end socio-economic disadvantages for Baltimoreans and surrounding populations.
ACDC is comprised of all volunteers who are dedicated professional educators, engineers, and an IT specialist who come from Government, the private sector, Baltimore City Schools, and the nonprofit sector. These individuals either serve on the Board or staff the programs we offer by tapping into their substantial professional experience in their implementation of these services.
We provide educational services and academic enrichment in partnership with the Maryland Educational Opportunity Center and the University of Maryland Extension 4H Club. We annually provide Thanksgiving baskets to deserving families identified by the Baltimore City Department of Social Services and also maintain a Community Garden. Lastly, we conduct an annual Back to School/Health Fair where students actively participate in the offered activities thereby earning tickets to obtain their back packs and school supplies.
