Mission Statement

We Care We Share (WCWS) is a faith based, nonprofit organization committed to making a difference in the lives of those in the Lorain Community. Our primary goals are to bring people to Christ and to move them from dependency to independency. Our organization aims to make a significant impact on poverty and hunger in Lorain.

WCWS has been serving the community of Lorain for over ten years. Our two signature programs are a food pantry, in partnership with Second Harvest Food Bank, and a clothing distribution closet. This past year we provided 7,000 families with over 300,000 pounds of food. WCWS also runs a community center with a variety of rotating programs and services. Our current goal is to transition from providing temporary solutions to creating a permanent shift in the lives of our clients and our community.
