Mission Statement

To walk alongside children in the foster care system and their care takers by offering consistent support through intentional giving, relationship building, and mentor ship.

Description

Our two programs are Love Box and Dare to Dream Mentoring Program. Love Box volunteers consist of a small group that work together to support a family with at least one child in care. The groups leader meets with the family once a month to drop off the Love Box which is a care package of items that the family communicated a need for with the leader.

Dare to Dream is a mentoring program for youth ages 15-21 in care. Mentors work with youth to meet vital milestones for their success as an adult when they are no longer in foster care. Mentors meet with mentees twice a month minimum.

Both programs are a one year commitment. Volunteers are background check through DCFS.
