FoamWar, Inc. is a social impact organization with an emphasis on STEM education that provides children and adults the opportunity to develop community and core values including respect, integrity, leadership, and teamwork while promoting a healthy and active lifestyle.
Description
Foamwar, inc., made up of volunteer nerf enthusiasts and their families, runs Ragnarocktoberfest, an annual, weekend-long nerf event featuring a convention for vendors, modding party meetup, story-based and battle based games, and 5v5 competition for children and adults. We will be adding modding parties throughout the year and other events as we grow. We just hosted our 5th annual event at Independence High School in San Jose in October. We promote being active and outside, building community, learning leadership and team-building skills, and promoting STEAM education via modifying nerf blasters such that they look and perform better via upgraded batteries, wiring, parts, and paint jobs. We are looking for volunteers to get involved early in the planning as well as to help at the event.
