Mission Statement

SFC Virginia (#squishyfacecrewva) is an Animal Rescue group based in Fredericksburg, VA. We were founded in June 2019 with a focus on saving dogs and cats from high-kill shelters in the state, providing medical care including vaccinations and spay/neuter surgeries, and finding permanent adoptive homes in our area. Our goal is to make a positive contribution to No-Kill Virginia 2020 and No-Kill Nation 2025.

Description

We are a nonprofit animal rescue organization founded in June/July 2019. This is a foster-based, volunteer-run group that pulls animals from high-kill regions of Virginia, provides medical treatment, and finds homes for them in and around Fredericksburg, VA. We aim to impact over 500 animals in our first year of operation, and are well on our way. We are spending the first part of the year working on creating strategies for growth and stability, as well as better internal organization.
