Description

Portland Area CSA Coalition is a proud 501c3 nonprofit organization serving growers and easters in Oregon and SW Washington. We are a coalition of local CSA farmers, ranchers, and fisheries who are dedicated to sustainable agricultural practices, building community, and boosting the economic viability of small-scale producers. Our members provide over 8,000 Portland-Metro area households with vegetables, fruits, meats, dairy, grains, flowers, and other locally grown products. Our major programs include: (1) Community education and outreach about CSA, including our annual Share Fair. (2) Increasing access to CSA for SNAP recipients (3) Providing networking and mentoring opportunities for CSA farmers (4) Serving as matchmakers by connecting our community with their local farmers.

In Fall 2019, Portland CSA Coalition was awarded a Farmers Market Promotion Program (FMPP) grant that will allow us to expand our programing and conduct a large scale study of CSA in our region. Join our board for this exciting moment for the Pacific Northwest CSA community.
