Business For America (BFA) is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that is encouraging businesses from the Fortune 500 to Main Street to get involved in promoting a healthy democracy. Volunteering for BFA means you’ll help businesses to give employees time off to vote, support election security and accessibility, and promote civic engagement in local communities.
BFA is currently mobilizing the business community to help protect voters during the COVID-19 crisis, as well as advocating for safer elections.
The process to become a volunteer was simple: after submitting my information I received a call from a Board Member. After a call with the Board Member, I sent along a resume and then did a second call with the CEO/Founder.
The work I've engaged in so far has been a perfect fit with the role description and my skills.
The team is engaged and passionate and I'm really looking forward to my continued involvement.
