Description

PhilaFLAM is a charitable organization 501c3 under American law which brings to children from 3 years to 18 years academic and cultural activities in French, from kindergarten to Bac, to maintain and improve their knowledge of the French language and culture. We are also officially the First Exam Center for the DELF (French International Diploma) since 2017.

The success of PhilaFLAM continued in this seventh year of existence, responding to a real need of the Francophone community. With nearly 200 students, for 25 teachers and assistants, the enthusiasm of parents is confirmed and reinforces our mission. The activities offered by PhilaFLAM are aimed at all French-speaking children, in an extra-curricular setting to promote the practice of the French language.

PhilaFLAM has the support of the entire French community of Philadelphia and its region. We strive to create sustainable bridges with all French-speaking associations, French schools, and the Alliance Française de Philadelphie, by organizing common events (French Nation Day, events for children, networking nights, ...).

We also work within the FLAM USA Federation which will be a constant pedagogic support to all FLAM in the USA, new and old.

And last but not least we help immigrant spouses find a new purpose and provide them trainings and a new position.
