Mission Statement

Voice for The Needy is working on a new project: building an online platform to bring together animal rescuers in Romanian and potential volunteers. The project is aiming to improve the life of homeless animals in Romania by promoting dialogue, enabling collaboration and, facilitating digital communication between animal rescue organizations and potential volunteers.

Description

We are a group of professionals who use their skills in design, marketing, web developing and NGO management to help and empower animal rescuers, with a focus on Romania. We provide animal rescuers with the digital know-how to help them access funding and volunteers, both crucial for their rescue operations. We focus on Romania because it faces huge homeless animal issues. A former communist country, Romania is one of the poorest countries in Europe, crippled by corruption. There is no protection for homeless animals: the animal protection system is fragmented, ineffective and run by corrupt authorities that do not have animal welfare at heart (animals in city-run shelters are abused, starved and brutally killed). Animal rescuers and NGOs are the only hope for homeless animals. We are here to help rescuers help animals!
