Mission Statement

To inspire, engage and educate. Sea Optimism opens a forum for conservationists, scientists and individuals to clean up and reduce our plastic waste.

Sea Optimism was created by two young, ambitious and passionate marine conservation students. We have a deep love for the sea, the ecosystems and species that depend on clean waters to survive, and so are prepared to dedicate our time to conserving our oceans. To achieve this we run 3 stages:

Beach/ inland cleanups
Education - workshops and talks
Turning waste into art.

Through which we hope to inspire more people, from all backgrounds and all ages, to reduce their plastic waste as well as help clean our seas.
